Dr. Perpetual Chinonye Uke (fondly known as Pep) is a distinguished Consultant Rheumatologist dedicated to improving the lives of individuals living with chronic and autoimmune illnesses. Her medical journey began in Nigeria, where she earned her first medical degree, driven by a deep commitment to healthcare and community service.
After marrying her husband, Matthew, Pep relocated to the United Kingdom, where she pursued her postgraduate training in Rheumatology. With her husband’s steadfast support, she rose through the ranks of her profession, achieving consultant status and contributing significantly to clinical excellence and research in her field.
Pep’s work is grounded in the values instilled in her by her parents: faith, education, and hard work. These principles have guided both her professional journey and her personal life, as she balances her medical career with a rich family life. She and Matthew are blessed with four wonderful children and make their home in Birmingham, UK.
In addition to her medical achievements, Dr. Uke is actively involved with PASPAL Foundation, where she channels her passion for community service and empowerment.
